Hanson's Fluid Mechanics and Flow Control Laboratory

Members > Vahid Nasr Esfahani

Vahid Nasr Esfahaniis a PhD candidate working on a project that ties in with sports aerodynamics. His experimental research is on the unsteady fluid dynamics of a yaw-oscillating circular cylinder in the subcritical flow regime. The culminated results can be used to gain knowledge about the fluid flow at the vicinity of a moving limb of an athlete. Vahid joined FMFC lab in Fall 2017. Vahid also has background in CFD as he received his master’s in Aerospace Engineering with a project dealing with unsteady aerodynamics.
