Daniel Daramsing earned an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from York University in 2020 before transitioning to a MASc degree in the fall of 2020. My research is aimed at determining the settling behaviour of fibrous microplastic particles (MPs) having simple and complex shapes at low Reynolds numbers. The research takes an experimental approach employing the use of particle tracking.
